The Importance of Monday-Seize Monday!

Monday is very important because it sets the tone for your week.

Skip exercise on Monday and it is easy to skip Tuesday.  By the time Wednesday rolls around you think to yourself, “already missed Monday and Tuesday may as well wait until Monday!”

Start eating bad, same thing, start eating bad on Monday may give you a whole week of eating poorly.

In sales the same is true!  Skip prospecting on Monday and the odds are good you will loose a whole week.

Regardless of what you do or want to do, Monday is the starting line for the week and sets the tone for how it will go.

The reverse is also true!  Discipline yourself to eat properly, get up and exercise, pick up the phone to prospect first thing Monday morning and the momentum will build as the week goes on.

It is the little things in life that lead to success.  The little things start Monday morning.

Start strong on Monday.  Have a plan of action for the week and implement that plan on Monday and before you know it you had a successful week!

How is your Monday going so far?  Have you noticed this in your own life?

Happy Monday. Carpe diem!  Seize the day.  Seize Monday!

Its not just true of Monday – if you start the day with urgency, you will set the tone for the rest of it. An early morning breakfast or some other distraction can really set me off tone, so I prefer to push through to midday and then pull back a bit. As it happens so many others battle to get started that an good start is often very productive for me and by the time other distractions start creeping in I am generally ahead of the game.

Agreed!! Thanks for your feedback and I agree 100%. If you can discipline yourself through the morning the rest of the day will take care of itself. When I was in Manhattan real estate I would get to the office a few hours before anyone else. I found I could get more done in 2 hours before phones and interruptions started then I could all day long. Those two hours allowed me to be creative and operate in my gifting's the rest of the day as opposed to responding to every need.
      Thanks again.
