Mangia ~ Lets Eat!

Ok, so you got my new book, The Power of Positive Fitness and you want to really rock and roll with it… but….
You are a little OCD when it comes to recording things to make sure you are on track.
You know the type they have a note book in the gym and then you see them in a restaurant recording everything they eat.
I can’t do that personally but there is a big advantage to tracking what you eat, at least for a while to keep yourself accountable.
Like writing your goals down does something in your subconscious mind so does writing down your meals.

A strong national economy starts with a strong personal economy.

A strong personal economy takes, energy, focus and discipline.

I don’t think it is a coincidence that one of the worst economies is accompanied by one of the worst health crises in history.

Obesity is out of control and is wreaking havoc on peoples health and our economy.

Short term satisfaction will often lead to long term pain.

The cake may satisfy a short term need but lead you further from your goal and make you discouraged.

That drink may make you forget about your problems but once it is out of your system you will feel worse.

Muscle burns fat! It’s as simple as that. The more muscle you have the more effective your metabolism will be. You don’t have to look like Mr. or Ms. Olympia for this to be true. When you have more muscle your body utilizes more energy to operate, even at rest. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn. Workout, put on muscle, and watch your body turn from a fat storage machine to a fat burning machine.
